Galvanized steel tubing is a process of applying a zinc coating to the steel tubing. Two standard gauges of tubing are used in the construction of our buildings, 14 gauge is typical in the Southern States and is 0.0785 inches thick measuring 2 ½” x 2 ½” inch. In the Northern States our 12 gauge is recommended with its 0.1084 inch thickness and measures 2 ¼” x 2 ¼”.

Lift Requirements

On All buildings over 32′ wide or 14′ tall a 6k Lull telescopic lift is required to set roof rafters and metal roof sheets. The rental cost can be added to your quote or you can provide the lift at your cost, but it must be on site on delivery/install day.
